Returning to the Playhouse as Narrator, Denis Grindel is a proud Irishman, hailing from Donegal in the North West of Ireland. A Business and Law graduate from University College Dublin, he began his career in the arts upon completion of a Masters in Theatre from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama London. His breakout role came in 2013, as the leading man ‘Jimmy Rabbitte’ in the West End production of Roddy Doyle’s The Commitments at the Palace Theatre. He joined The Choir of Man in 2018, and since then has been honoured to tour the world with this fantastic company, performing to audiences in noteworthy venues such as Edinburgh’s Festival Hall, Sydney Opera House, and The Kennedy Center to name a few. He would like to thank his family for their continued support and dedicate his performance to the memory of his beloved mother Margaret.
