Producer & Director

Nic has been at the forefront of global singing for the past 20 years as a performer, director, competition judge and producer. As a performer, he founded The Magnets and took the group from amateur student beginnings to one of the most successful a cappella groups in the world, securing a major record deal with EMI and releasing three albums.

In 2015 Nic created “Gobsmacked!”, an a cappella stage show that debuted at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and toured to Hong Kong, London’s Southbank plus a 132 date US tour.

In 2017 The Choir of Man had its world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe and has now toured extensively in Australia playing at the Adelaide Festival and the prestigious Sydney Opera House twice. In 2019 the show toured for five-months across the United States with residencies in Chicago, Toronto and Washington DC’s Kennedy Centre.  The show also performed in the Netherlands, Denmark, Germany and Italy. In 2020 we embarked on tours to the USA and Australia unfortunately cut short due to the worldwide pandemic. The Choir of Man is also resident on Norwegian Cruise Lines ships Escape and the Encore (currently on hiatus in 2020).

As a producer Nic has created and managed shows at festivals throughout Europe, Australia, and New Zealand including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the Auckland Arts Festival, Perth International Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival, the Cayman Islands Festivals, Henley Festival and the Holders Season in Barbados.
